The Opportunity

Delaware North Global Headquarters is hiring a Senior Strategic Data Analyst to join our information technology architecture team located in Buffalo, New York or in Atlanta, Georgia.

As Senior Strategic Data Analyst, you will use your data analytics, data engineering and data science skills to develop, recommend, and communicate timely, accurate, meaningful, and impactive insights to support business decisions and objectives.

Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Salary: $70700 - $93700 / year

Responsibilities

• Analyze moderately complex data and prepare, visualize, and implement strategy.
• Use technical and domain expertise to translate data into meaningful insights for teams and leaders to confidently take action on.
• Use knowledge of business and data to discover and anticipate problems or opportunities where data can be leveraged to address the need.
• Ask probing questions to translate business needs in order to design and build reporting solutions.
• Interpret results of analyses, identified trends, and issues through forecasting, and develop alternatives to enhance key objectives.

Apply data aggregation, descriptive analysis, and data presentation techniques and tools to communicate complex findings and recommendations to influence the actions of others. Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in Information Management, Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3 or more years of experience working in quantitative or data analyst roles with hospitality, food and beverage, and retail experience preferred.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Understanding of standard data models/schemas.

Experience working with large data repositories or relational databases using SQL.

Experience with data query, visualization, dashboard, or scorecard tools including Tableau. * Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
