Job Description


National Home Builder is seeking a dynamic Corporate Sales and Marketing Director with extensive knowledge and experience in home building. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to grow and impact each Division\xe2\x80\x99s Sales and Marketing departments. The role is responsible for the overall performance of companies sales and marketing teams, focusing on recruiting, training, and coaching, as well as, driving the Divisions marketing strategies and customer centric culture. We are poised for growth in the markets we serve and reward our key players.

Core Responsibilities:

Sales: * Assist in the recruitment, evaluation, training, and development of a productive and highly competitive company wide Sales Department.

  • Lead each Divisions Sales Teams including strategy, product knowledge, personnel development, customer satisfaction, sales,, reporting, etc.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of Corporate wide Sales training and development program including quarterly \xe2\x80\x9cSales Boot Camps.\xe2\x80\x9d
  • Ensure Divisions are priced competitively by overseeing monthly competitive analysis.
  • Stay on top of and present industry trends in sales compensation and motivation programs.
  • Lead and mentor Division Sales Management teams.
Marketing: * Assist with Division product offerings and Inclusions through monthly and quarterly competitive market research.
  • Work with Divisions and Corporate Vendors to create advertising content, producing A+ visuals, including but not limited to drone videos, customer testimonials, display ads, promotional graphics, home, and community photos/videos.
  • Provide strategic direction on paid and organic advertising, including Social Media, provide monthly "Marketing ROI reports" to key decision makers.
  • Oversee and manage the Corporate Website including Division website pages, implementing SEO strategies and best practices with the goal of increased Customer engagement.
  • Implement creative digital and traditional marketing strategies in support of New Communities, Models, and Sales Centers, including Grand Opening events, Digital campaigns, Sales Office build outs, Collateral development, etc.
  • Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on marketing opportunities.
  • Promote and reinforce company expectations for brand, culture, and performance.
Collaborate: * Conduct weekly virtual Collaborative Marketing and Sales team meetings with Divisions Sales and Marketing.
  • With Divisions on Realtor outreach.
  • Lead Corporate Retail Department on rolling out new marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Work with Executive VP and VP of Land as needed to identify new markets and launch new communities.
  • Supervise and motivate department staff, Division Sales Teams, Online Sales Coordinators, and Selections Coordinators.
Skills and Abilities: * Skilled at Sales Training and Motivation.
  • Analytical and innovative in using data to create successful strategies and programs.
  • Project-oriented and well organized with attention to detail.
  • Expert collaborator, communicator and change agent.
  • Understands market and industry trends.
  • Driven to push sales and marketing efforts to successful closure.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, and social media.
  • Experience with web design concepts, Graphics and Video editing, and Adobe Suite.
Experience/Education: * 4+ years prior experience in New Home Sales and Marketing at Director level position.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to resolve customer issues and negotiate appropriate outcomes.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree.
  • Google Analytics Certification preferred.
Other Requirements: * Position will office in Chicago, Illinois or Dallas, Texas
  • Travel is required to our Divisions model homes/communities; must own or lease a vehicle and have a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license with insurance coverage.
