The Director of Sales & Marketing oversees all marketing activities, including sales, catering, revenue management, reservations, and public relations for the property. This position reports to the General Manager and is part of the Planning Committee (hotel leadership team).
We are looking for strategic, proactive individuals who have a proven track record in both sales and marketing. Applicants need substantial revenue and budget management skills, have a creative flair for marketing, good communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate effective leadership. This Hotel has a residential rental component. Prior experience in a mixed-use residential hotel is preferred.

Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis is an unrivaled expression of luxury. The new 37-storey building will be situated at the convergence of business and leisure in Minneapolis, at the top of Nicollet Mall, the city\xe2\x80\x99s pedestrian thoroughfare. A few short blocks from the Mississippi River, the mixed-use complex will also serve as RBC Wealth Management\xe2\x80\x99s US headquarters. Education and Experience
College Degree Graduate (4-years or equivalent)
Minimum 3-5 years or equivalent of Luxury Hotel Sales & Marketing experience
Regular travel is required with this position.
Desired Knowledge and Required Skills
Possesses a record of accomplishment of driving business to be a market leader in RevPAR and EBITDA performance.
Understands ownership\xe2\x80\x99s vision for the positioning and guest experience of this property and can market and articulate the vision accordingly.
Requires strategic planning in the digital world, including implementing paid marketing campaigns, analyzing, and updating SEO, and maintaining a current and inviting digital presence on all platforms.
Works closely with the General Manager in communicating the Hotel\xe2\x80\x99s marketing vision, strategies, and tactics to the owners for approval and engagement. This role is responsible for presenting the Hotel\xe2\x80\x99s performance to ownership on an established basis.
Strong relationship-building skills and demonstrates the ability to learn the local market.
