Fuscoe Engineering, Inc. is a 100% employee-owned civil engineering firm that provides a full spectrum of services for public agencies and private firms throughout Southern California. We are seeking a Controller to join our team at the Irvine HQ. As a Controller, you

• Lead & direct the organization s accounting functions
• Maintain the organization s overall accounting systems, procedures, and policies
• Analyze financial statements & present findings
• Possess a proven track record with at least 15 years of progressive finance & accounting experience, ideally some experience at an A/E company handling high volume projects

Other duties include:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department including billing, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivables, revenue recognition.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Work closely with project managers and conduct monthly meetings to review project profitability.
• Manage the Company s financial systems and processes ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting department.
• Manage online credit card application.
• Assist with the annual audit and liaise with auditors.
• Manage, train, coach, mentor & evaluate accounting team staff.
• Assists with budgets and Planning.
• Assist CFO/COO with ad-hoc projects & reports.
• Assists other personnel as required with financial and other spreadsheet analysis.
