Controller
Job Description
Food processor in the Charlotte, NC area has an immediate need for a Controller. This position is responsible for directing the fiscal functions and company performance including:
\xc2\xb7 Accounting books, records and software systems of the organization.
\xc2\xb7 Supervise the accounting function and provide direct oversight of all external vendors supporting finance, tax, audit, and payroll activities.
\xc2\xb7 Oversight of accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll processing.
\xc2\xb7 Financial and accounting internal controls
\xc2\xb7 Timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends
\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable city, state, and federal regulatory laws for financial and tax reporting.
This position requires a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of financial leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
\xc2\xb7 Prior supervisory experience
\xc2\xb7 Costing, sales tax, payroll tax experience
\xc2\xb7 ERP experience
\xc2\xb7 Strong problem solving and assessment skills
\xc2\xb7 Ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
\xc2\xb7 Results oriented; driven and engaged to develop, mentor, and manage accounting / finance functions.
