Job Description


job summary:
Oversee the management and oversight of the property accounting teams, month end close, financial statement reviews, and audits. Assist with streamlining and centralizing accounting processes, improve financial reporting, and perform advanced accounting tasks. Responsible for excellent communication between the accounting team, operations, and ownership.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial reporting and cash management for team\'s assets.
  • Supervise a team of accounting managers
  • Drive performance and develop our talent
  • Develop cash management reporting including monthly cash flow projections.
  • Compliance with third party client accounting policies and procedures.
  • Internal and external audits.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years real estate accounting experience
  • 3+ Years of Hands On Managerial Experience
  • Preferred Industry Specific Software: Yardi, RealPage/Onesite, Entrata, and/or MRI
  • GAAP in the property management industry is required.
