The Contracts Manager is responsible for managing contracts for customer programs and clearly communicating on-going progress with all stakeholders. These include customer supply agreements, allocation agreements, etc. with global EV and CE battery makers. The Contracts Manager will be interfacing with Business Development, Quality, Operations, Marketing, Product, Finance, and internal/external legal counsel. This role will support Group14\xe2\x80\x99s efforts to supply our products to the largest battery makers, EV OEMs, and consumer electronics companies in North America, Europe, and Asia.
WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL BE DOING:

• 
  Lead efforts associated with Contract Life Cycle Management for all contracts in support of battery qualification programs for automotive and consumer electronics customers.

• Review, revise, and negotiate contracts which include supply agreements, allocation agreements, terms and conditions, and purchase orders in collaboration with Business Development and Legal. Escalate complex legal and factual issues to appropriate teams to assist in resolution.

-Partner with internal stakeholders and customers to obtain the requirements needed for each contract - including internal Quality and Product teams for Quality and Technical agreements.

• Monitor contract performance and compliance. Recommend and implement process improvements for contract compliance.

• Provide concise and effective communications to key internal and external stakeholders on contract progress.

WHAT WE\xe2\x80\x99RE LOOKING FOR:

• 
  Experience within the automotive and/or battery industry.

• Experience negotiating customer supply agreements with battery manufacturers and/or automotive and consumer electronics OEMs.

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Engineering or Chemistry. MBA, JD, or equivalent job experience.

• 5+ years of contract management and customer support experience.

• Proven track record in managing complex cross-functional projects.

OTHER QUALITIES WE\xe2\x80\x99D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:

  Prior experience in a startup environment.

• Intermediate to fluent written and verbal proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, to support our customers in China.

The base pay range for this role is $120,000 to $150,000. Actual pay depends on various factors, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
