The Content Strategy Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced, multi-tasking, go-getter who loves to dot i\xe2\x80\x99s and cross t\xe2\x80\x99s to join our Marketing team and own the content for a dynamic 8-figure health and wellness brand poised to reach the next level. We\xe2\x80\x99re a fast-paced, growth-driven brand empowering people to achieve optimal health and this role has significant responsibility and visibility to help promote our vision. Our ideal candidate is a tenacious taskmaster of editorial calendars and their team in order to meet deadlines and produce content that is high quality and on brand. The Content Strategy Manager will report to the Head of Marketing and be responsible for wide-ranging content for our website, social media and email that includes articles, recipes, ebooks, photo, graphics and video to name a few. Analytics and reporting skills are crucial in order to measure performance and gain insights in order to take us to the next level.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

Spearhead strategy and content production with our CEO and face of the brand, Dr. Myers;

Own the execution of an editorial calendar, incorporating product launches, promotions, and seasonal themes;

Lead a team of Content Producers, Marketing Coordinator and Social Media Coordinator as well select Vendor/Partners;

Edit, proofread, and adapt DSHEA-compliant content (text articles, recipes, emails, infographics, videos, interactive features, and other multimedia), whether produced by yourself or subject matter experts, across various digital channels using best practices;

Direct the scheduling and publishing of content through Hootsuite, WordPress and Klaviyo;

Strategize and oversee the execution of content for all our mediums/channels that resonates with the target audience and drives conversions:

Articles that drive thousands of views

Programs that create loyal customers

Ebooks and webinars that educate and drive purchases

Photo and graphics that highlight our dynamic brand

Videos that engage our audience

Interviews that showcase Dr. Myers\xe2\x80\x99 knowledge

Formulate editorial best practices documentation;

Ensure that content and campaign performance across all platforms are measured and optimized (Klaviyo, Social Platforms (FB, IG, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube), Google Analytics, etc.);

Analyze and distill performance data into actionable insights used to inform content marketing decisions;

Engineer creative processes to ensure most productive workflow;

Assist with developing content strategies that support overall marketing goals and strategy;

Monitor competitor sites and newsletters for trends and ideas;

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

5+ years of content strategy and execution with a focus on digital and video content;

Confident editorial point-of-view and ability to capture the distinct brand voice and values and implement across all forms of content to drive brand equity, growth, and engagement;

Substantial organization and project management skills with ability to prioritize multiple projects;

Experience reading, researching and editing complex topics of a medical nature, related education/certification preferred;

Ability to analyze data, identify issues, develop improvements, and implement process improvements;

Deep understanding of content requirements across multiple channels- including social media (FB, IG, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube), email, SEO, and online;

Excellent communicator able to pitch creative ideas and insights-informed strategies that align with the brand\xe2\x80\x99s mission and goals;

Knack for conceptualizing new content through the repurposing of existing video, written content

Location: This is a full-time, in-office position in our Austin office. The office is located in south Austin near I-35 and Slaughter in the Southpark Meadows area.
