Your Role: Operations Manager



The Operations Manager plays a key leadership role in overseeing company operations, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This person must demonstrate strong leadership, in-depth construction knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee Project Management operations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellence across all active projects. Develop and implement SOPs and process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance team productivity. Uphold quality and safety standards, promoting compliance, accountability and a proactive safety culture. Lead and mentor Project Managers and operations staff, fostering collaboration, growth, and high performance, Enhance client and vendor satisfaction through clear communication, structures feedback, and professional conflict resolution. Monitor business costs and performance metrics, driving efficiency and profitability across departments. Stay ahead of industry trends, including construction software, AI, and regulatory updates, to keep operations modern and compliant. Report to company leadership on project performance, operational health, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For



5+ years of experience in residential or light commercial project management Strong understanding of construction schedules, materials, and subcontractor coordination Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to lead with clarity, consistency, and confidence Familiarity with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Buildertrend, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet) A collaborative mindset and commitment to Coastal Maine GC's values Knowledge of Maine building codes and construction market
