Schedule: This role is hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Must be local to Dallas-Fort Worth.

Compensation: $100-115k, depenging on experience

Position Summary:

Working closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing, the Communications Managerwill support the Corporate Marketing team with the coordination and execution of all internal and external communications initiatives. As the Communication Manager, you will play a critical role creating partnerships across the enterprise and working closely with cross-functional teams in the development of communications, materials, presentations, and the creation of various collateral for both internal and customer-facing purposes.

You must be a strategic thought leader, a motivated self-starter, an effective communicator, and have excellent relationship-building skills, with a passion for upholding brand integrity and helping shape a cohesive communication strategy that drives acquisition, engagement, and loyalty.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that supports the company\'s overall goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate and align with all internal and external stakeholders on initiatives to ensure a cohesive and holistic communications strategy.
  • Create and/or maintain communications standards, guidelines, and protocols to support the company brand and monitor its use for consistency.
  • Oversee communications produced by (or on behalf of) the company to support the brand, including online communications, direct emails to customers, strategic communications, promotions, and marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support the creation of communications and marketing materials including collateral, newsletters, digital content, employee-focused materials, and more.
  • Supervise and help with content creation for marketing materials (collateral, newsletters, press releases, digital content, and more).
  • Take charge of initiatives to identify and respond to customer and other stakeholder interests, expectations, and concerns, including advocating for modified and new services to enhance the customer experience and grow the organization.
  • Work with Senior Marketing leadership to create and update web copy and assist in identifying new areas for development.
  • Support internal podcast production, including content pitches, generating stories and interview ideas, and collaborating with other contributors.
  • Assist in the execution of Regional Expos and events where necessary and as called upon.
  • Consult with executive management to develop effective communication procedures and policies for various situations or crises.
  • Draft press releases and speeches following organizational news.
  • Write letters, interdepartmental memos, and other business correspondence.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with media outlets, and key stakeholders to enhance the company\'s public relations efforts.
  • Communicate with media outlets and journalists and create press kits.
  • Develop materials to educate staff on communication practices.
  • Perform communications research and monitor the progress of various communications strategies and campaigns, provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Assist senior leadership and cross-functional teams with key communications.
  • Consistently strengthen strategic talking points in all company communications and materials.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Five years of experience in corporate communications or PR
  • 3-5 years of specific experience in B2B marketing, ideally in the food & beverage industry
  • Ability to develop compelling messaging in alignment with our brand and overall marketing strategy
  • Proven success at developing and executing innovative, strategic communications campaigns across various channels and audiences
  • Experience managing website content/SEO to leverage visibility and engagement
  • Ability to deliver compelling, concise, and clear insights into performance
  • Outstanding project management & organization skills with strong ability to prioritize high impact activities and keep complex projects moving forward
  • Direct experience overseeing a large brand
  • Eager to take initiative and balance a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal & written communication/presentation skills
  • A can-do attitude with a strong drive for results
