Job Description
Green Leaf is looking for a
CNC Programmer - Operator
to program and operate two and three axis CNC production equipment.RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Setup, startup and operation of CNC equipment. Verify finished product meets customer specifications. Work with Production Manager to maintain production schedule. Evaluate programming processes in order to update techniques and improve quality, safety and productivity efficiencies. Ensure processes fall within the established guidelines. Communicate important information to machine operators, QC and Management. Operate CNC equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on fleet of CNC equipment. Perform housekeeping items to ensure the workplace is clean and free of safety concerns. Follow all safety and standard operating procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
2 year degree or equivalent experience in setup and operation of CNC machining centers.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Good troubleshooting skills Strong mechanical background Self-motivated Ability to work varied hours Familiar with Fanuc G code controls Detail oriented
