CNA - PACE/ElderPlace in Everett, WA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day shift

:

Under the direction of the PCA Coordinator, assists participants in maintaining an environment consistent with their needs. Assists participants in their mobility exercises to help them be more independent for their activities and to maintain their current level of functioning. Provides care in a manner that assures participant satisfaction and retention. Assists participants in such activities as walking, transfers, use of mobility devices, getting to and from rest room, toileting, changing diapers and clothing, feeding, showering, getting in and out of transportation vehicles, socialization at the center. Knowledge and support of the mission and core values of the Sisters of Providence are important to successful performance, as are commitment to and demonstration of a spirit of teamwork. Personal Care Assistants work at the Center and assist on the vans.

Required Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training - Nurse delegation for nursing assistance training within 120 days.
  • Coursework/Training - 70 hours of basic training within 120 days.
  • Coursework/Training - Mental health specialty training within 120 days.
  • Coursework/Training - Dementia specialty training within 120 days.
  • Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Long term care or related geriatric and/or rehabilitative experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Assisted living background.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

About the Team: Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life. Our service lines include assisted living/skilled nursing/rehabilitation, home health, home infusion/pharmacy services, home medical equipment, hospice and palliative care, Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), personal home services/private duty care and supportive housing.
