Job Description
Snell & Wilmer, one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the Western United States has an opening for a Client Intake role within our Finance Department in our Phoenix office. This is a great opportunity to use your customer service and administrative experiences and start or continue a career in the legal industry! The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Open new clients and matters in the accounting system
- Performs conflicts checks and other due diligence prior to opening new client matters
- Reviews for accuracy all the submissions of new client/new matter forms
- Works with the attorneys and secretaries to obtain missing information on the new client/new matter forms and ensures all information is collected
- Educates new secretaries on the new client/new matter process and works collaboratively with them to efficiently expedite the process
- Work on additional firm projects as needed
- Critical thinking and the ability to independently solve problems
- Must be detail oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet firm deadlines as needed
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience working with Aderant/CMS or Elite is a plus
- Law firm experience is preferred, but not required
