Description:

Cigna Information Protection team is seeking an Information Protection Advisor who will play a role in helping to evolve and mature the shared services business processes required to efficiently and effectively run the organization and deliver on its IT security controls for Global Threat Management. The ideal candidate has a strategic mindset, is able to effectively communicate at all levels, can translate ideas into operational processes and is an advocate and champion to foster and enable a culture of continuous process improvement and automation.

The Information Protection Advisor will help standardize, create a culture of self-service and enable improved data-driven insights and status on business operations that are important and essential to leadership and management. The role will also implement and evolve processes and services to enable realization of strategic goals and objectives, will partner with security engineering on process and metrics automation, and working with key stakeholders on making the engagement and working relationship with CIP easier and more effective. Furthermore, drive enterprise level table top exercises (TTXs) across multiple business areas with matrixed partners involving Senior Leadership and Executive Leadership teams.

Responsibilities:

Leadership: Provide constructive input to management team on program progression and development.

Process Contributor: Assist management team to design and pilot efficient and effective business processes and services via technology workflow solutions (e.g. Confluence, ServiceNow, etc.)

Strategy: Assist team members and key stakeholders support lifecycle development of our global security strategy; along with supporting and integrating with GTM enterprise strategy.

Metrics Program: Assist with facilitating monthly business management (MBM) meetings that provide senior leadership with performance and risks associated to multi-disciplinary operational metrics, budget /finances, staffing, IT Audit, Program/Project Management, Sourcing, etc.

Reporting: Assist in development of metrics reporting & dashboards for key audiences ranging from operational to executive.

Table Top Exercise (TTX): Lead enterprise level; GTM facilitated TTX program for SLT and ELT stakeholders.

Metrics Lifecycle Mgmt: Assist and partner with service / IT control leads and leadership on the lifecycle management and governance of key performance, risk, and control indicators and metrics that will drive impactful actions and decisions to address key risks and threats, improve operational performance, and drive capability maturity.

Quality Assurance: Ensure consistency and accuracy of metrics and reporting.

Process Governance: Contribute to overall teams objectives of lifecycle manage and operationally govern a myriad of business processes and services.

Process / Metrics Automation: Assist with maintaining a strong partnership and working relation with the global security engineering organization\xe2\x80\x99s Security Data Warehouse team to help support CIP metrics workflow systematization & digital dashboard reporting maturation.

Program/Project Mgmt Governance: Partner with the CIP Strategic Delivery Office (when applicable) to govern and maintain project and program roadmaps depicting status, milestone forecasting and value realization.

Marketing / Brand Mgmt: Serve as a marketing and brand advocate for the business value of successfully delivering on Cigna Information Protection Security Services to mitigate risk and meet regulatory controls.

Qualifications:

Preferred Bachelor\'s degree in information systems, information protection/security, or related technology/business field is preferred.

3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in business operations, cybersecurity and or information technology.

Strong operations, process engineering/optimization and project management experience preferred.

Experienced communicator - able to simplify the complex with proven experience presenting to senior leaders; excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Advanced MS Office abilities.

Elevated cyber security industry, technology, and security knowledge including understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes.

Developing consulting like skills - able to assimilate business knowledge and knowledge of internal customer\'s unique needs/situation. Provide options and tools to make informed decisions.

Enhanced interpersonal skills with the proven ability achieve alignment across a range of different opinions and interests

Ability to work independently and make objective decisions independently as well as in coordination with larger organizational priorities

Desired Qualifications:

Process engineering experience (Lean/Six Sigma, etc.)

Industry certifications (e.g., Security+, ITILv3/4, CISA, CISM) prefered

Experience with Agile and Waterfall solution development approaches

Flexibility to develop unique and novel approaches to solutions

Ability to participate in customer and partner facing meetings and projects, including those that involve technical topics

Strong analytical skills and inferential thinking
