Capital Markets & Security Operations - Trading Middle Office Associate

As Trade Support Associate You will be responsible for numerous functions including trade support, preparation of various reports, partnering across various stakeholder groups to assist in strategic programs. Product support includes Equities, Options, Mutual Funds, Fixed Income, Margin Trading and Trade Controls and Alternatives. In this role, the candidate will develop an in-depth understanding of trade flows for the US Private Bank, JPM Wealth Management, and JPM Self-Directed Investing. The role of Trade Support Associate requires a willingness to take on a challenging and complex suite of products and an ability to learn quickly in a high volume and constantly changing environment. Strong communication skills are a necessity due to heavy interaction with front office and product desk personnel globally and to keep management apprised of key developments or ideas to improve upon existing processes .

Job responsibilities
  • Operational support for USPB, JPMWM, and SDI
  • Develop relationships across all levels of the firm and work on project teams and multiple work streams in a changing environment
  • Provide analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business processes, identifying risks and defining possible solutions
  • Ensure written processes and procedures are followed in order to achieve desired business results
  • Coordinate with various areas of Operations, Middle Office, Finance, IT, Risk, Compliance, and Senior Management on trade corrections, business requirements, procedures and processes
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes, reducing need for manual touch points
  • Champion Alteryx/ Xceptor/Tableau work flows along with Change Mobilization to automate and optimize workflows and processes , Build and execute trade files for FIX uploads and/or propritary Order management Systems (OMS)

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor\'s degree or higher
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Expert Microsoft Suite skills - Strong focus on Excel
  • Bloomberg knowledge
  • Alteryx/Tableau design experience a plus
  • Self-starter, extremely organized with strong commitment to accuracy and detail
  • Advanced knowledge of securities industry with high aptitude for learning- Required Series 7 and/or Series 63/66
  • Good judgment and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities effectively, work independently
  • Develop Process, and at ease with responding to high pressure deadlines
  • Strong background relating to Information System and data mining
