Role
:
Reports to and works closely with Business Deposit Relationship Manager (BDRM) to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of Rogue\'s Business Depository Services. Serves as a liaison and relationship support for business members and prospective business members seeking to establish a business banking relationship with Rogue. Assists with business development strategies leading to business deposit growth and successful new member onboarding. Assists with the management of business depository products and services. Educates and serves as a resource to Branch Delivery, Member Contact Center and Business Services to provide the highest member service levels available. Plays an integral role in the onboarding and processing of products and services, including ACH Origination, Remote Deposit Capture, Positive Pay, Merchant Services, Business Online Banking, Account Analysis and Sweeps (Treasury Management).

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
E 20% Assists with the development and implementation of credit union strategies to grow core business deposit base. Works with Branch Delivery to provide professional and high-level service leading to positive Net Promoter Score (NPS). Actively seeks opportunities for growth and ensures proper member onboarding. Assists with all facets of business depository relationship management. Assists with onboarding, processing and annual review of all Treasury Management Services.

E 20% Fosters excellent communication between Business Services, Operations and Branch Delivery by coordinating with the various teams, including the Business Member Service Representative (MSR) in branches and the Member Contact Center to assist with account opening and deposit operations servicing issues which may arise with business memberships. Interviews business members and prospective members via email, telephone and in-person as required when establishing and/or expanding a business relationship. Analyzes bank statements, identifies business needs and provides recommendations for account type, essential services, and cost recovery tier when appropriate. Ensures successful implementation of Treasury Management products and services in accordance with policies and procedures.

E 20% Works closely with BDRM to enhance deposit processes, including knowledge of and execution of the Business Membership Filter. Understands and recognizes business documents necessary to establish bank account(s) and has the ability to cross-sell all credit union products and services effectively. Calls on existing and prospective business members to solidify full relationships.

E 20% Trains, coaches and educates branch delivery channels and supports personnel on all business depository products and services to meet daily operational needs of the areas assigned. This includes all related business depository products, including Treasury Management. Demonstrates an understanding of Public Funds and Nonprofit relationship management.

E 15% Provides excellent member service to internal and external members. Works closely with BDRM and ACH Department to ensure successful ACH Origination member onboarding. Maximizes the member experience. Serves as a liaison between the business member, Relationship Manager and ACH/Operations Department.

N 5% Proactively performs other duties as assigned or required.

8. Is professional and demonstrates the ability to build a positive and credible reputation as a representative of Rogue Credit Union. Demonstrates good listening skills and the ability to develop and maintain rapport. Responds promptly to inquiries to deliver the highest level of member service.

9. Is an effective resource and able to field questions. Provides member-focused solutions to problems associated with any business deposit product or service.

Knowledge and Skills:
Experience Three to five years of similar or related experience. Experience working with Business Owners and knowledge of business relationship development and management.

Education (1) A two-year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprentice program.

Interpersonal Skills Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating, influencing or training others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.

Other Skills Must have full understanding of Nonprofit and Public Funds relationship management, including Treasury Management Products and Services. Strong business development and needs based sales skills. Strategic thinking and decision making skills. Analysis and negotiation skills. Strong computer/software skills including the use of spreadsheets. Presentation, proposal and handout development skills. Effective time management and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements Some lifting required (up to 30 pounds), continuous sitting, occasional standing and occasional walking. Finger dexterity while using computer. Occasional talking and hearing in person and on the telephone. Continuous clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and continuous clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.

Work Environment Normal workday with occasional overtime. Exposed to potentially hazardous condition, i.e., robbery. Travel to all credit union regions may be required.
