Position Duties and Responsibilities:

Entry of accounting information for new and existing projects within the project costing system

Generate monthly billing reports and distribute to managers

Process client invoices

Daily interaction with internal and external clients

Complete accounting procedures for project closeout including making appropriate adjustments to Work in Process within the project costing system

Assist Project Managers with finance related question & analysis

Verify weekly employee timesheets for accuracy

Provide back up support to payroll

Support payroll closing process including journal entries and reconciliations

Perform various General Ledger reconciliations as required

Ability to perform accounting functions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Practices in compliance with guidelines established by the firm

Qualifications

B.S. Degree in Accounting or related field.

Minimum of two year\'s office experience, preferably accounting and/or payroll experience

Strong computer proficiency with MS Office programs

Detail oriented person with strong analytical and problem solving skills
