This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am \xe2\x80\x93 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to internal and external billing customers/payers.
  • Analyze/resolve/reconcile billing issues.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Billing systems, tools and processes.
  • Support/monitor/manage invoices and account payments.
  • Understand and support Billing team priorities, strategies, and changes.
  • Support Billing team training plan.
  • Represent Billing team as a subject matter expert (SME) on business projects and report progress, concerns, and requests to Billing leaders.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED (or Higher) OR equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer issues in health insurance environment.
  • Experience in Microsoft Word (ability to create a professional document)
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel (create, edit and save spreadsheets, sorting, formulas, pulling data, data entry)
  • Ability to work 8:00am \xe2\x80\x93 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.
Telecommuting Requirements:
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
