The Senior Enrollment Quality Analyst conducts the necessary research and coordination to ensure all Enrollments, Disenrollment\'s, Plan Changes and Reconciliation activities are accurately processed. You will conduct audits and provide feedback to reduce errors, improve processes, performance and ensure quality and consistency. There will be interaction via telephone and written correspondence with the Compliance team(s) to ensure the Enrollment Department meets and exceeds all regulatory standards. Additionally, this position will work closely with Compliance regarding coordination to HIPAA, Model Audit Rule (MAR), Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS), and any other CMS or compliance related activities.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am \xe2\x80\x93 5:00pm in their local time zone. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.

We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours during training will be 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Takes responsibility for and drives issue resolution, escalating when appropriate and communicating effectively within 04-48 hours
  • Perform deep dive analysis to identify root cause failures and develop remediation action plans for escalated member issues
  • Collaborate with business partners to resolve issues impacting members
  • Act as the point of contact for escalated member issues, providing end to end member service, including incident identification and understanding, and following up with remediating action plans
  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners to identify innovative solutions for resolving escalated member issues and to decrease the overall number of escalated member issues in each market
  • Engage in predictive analytics to prevent system and other Enrollment and Billing related issues from impacting members
  • Ensure end to end member service satisfaction for a variety of service issues across all lines of business at UHG
  • Develop and implement effective / strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes to prevent defects from recurring
  • Support short and long term operational / strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models
  • Conduct and manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning
  • Create, control and improve end - to - end business processes
  • Lead process design and support project implementation teams in process improvement activities
  • Diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools
  • Create quality assessments, provide analysis and audits for developing plans and programs to support continuous quality improvement using applicable tools\\
  • Ability to multitask and use time management skills via daily assignments and/or multiple projects simultaneously
  • Work cross - functionally across the organization
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Mentor other team members as needed.
  • Schedule and host meetings and working sessions as needed to support issue resolution.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of billing, enrollment, or collections experience
  • Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications
Ability to work our normal business hours of 8:00am \xe2\x80\x93 5:00pm in their local time zone, Monday - Friday including the flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends based on business need * Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience resolving issues using root causing and problem-solving skills
  • 1+ years of experience in business / finance analysis collecting, analyzing, and presenting data and recommendations to management
  • 1+ years of specific experience documenting processes and practices, using project methodology artifacts, while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlines
  • 1+ years of project management that demonstrates problem solving, organizational, analytical and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Retirement
  • Microsoft Access (Create & Edit), SharePoint (Create & Edit) and Visio (Create & Edit) experience
