Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a creative and talented full stack software engineer who is passionate about solving problems and improving people\xe2\x80\x99s lives.

Our team is developing a modern web application to solve various problem for our internal customers. The problem space is highly variable and offers fresh, interesting feature opportunities. We would like a well-rounded individual to collaborate with us to build wonderful software that delights our customers and makes their day to day lives better.

The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about creating high quality software that provides value to its users. Primary focus would be designing React frontend and ASP.NET web APIs.

As an Associate Software Engineer, a typical day might include the following:

B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- modern web application development
- object oriented programming languages (C#, Java)
- frontend languages (javascript, typescript, html, css)
- frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
- backend frameworks (.NET, Spring)
- database (SQL, Postgres)
- CI/CD (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
- other technologies (Git, RabbitMQ, )

Pay Range Data


We anticipate filling this position as an Associate Software Engineer $$60,800 - $95,000. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
