Position Summary...

What you\'ll do...

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer III to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing highly scalable microservices using Node.js, Java, and GO. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the smooth operation of production systems and deliver high-quality software solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring production issues using various tools.

About Team:
Our team collaborates with Walmart International, which has over 5,900 retail units operating outside of the United States under 55 banners in 26 countries including Africa, Argentina, Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Japan, and Mexico, to name a few.

What you\'ll do:

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing highly scalable microservices using Node.js, Java, and GO.
• Building and managing Kubernetes clusters to support microservices architecture.
• Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GITOPS, GIT, and Jenkins.
• Collaborating with multiple teams to handle production support and ensure system stability.
• Implementing agile engineering practices to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Developing and implementing automation testing frameworks for microservices.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting production issues using Splunk, Dynatrace, and Grafana.
• Working with YML files and Linux to configure and manage systems.
• Utilizing shell scripting for automation and system tasks.
• Utilizing cloud platforms for system deployment and management.

What you\'ll bring:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Node.js development with expert-level proficiency.
• Experience working with databases like Cosmos, Cassandra, and MariaDB.
• Experience working with messaging systems such as Kafka and AMQ.
• Strong experience in building microservices using Node.js, Java, and GO.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong knowledge of building highly scalable systems using cloud and edge computing.
