ResMed is working to expand the core competencies of its in-house agency in support of rapidly evolving Marketing strategies. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an ACD, Design who brings a thoughtful, brand-forward approach to 360 Marketing campaign strategy. Your ability to direct a team of visual designers who will partner with copywriters and other disciplines to concept and implement the \xe2\x80\x9cbig ideas\xe2\x80\x9d capable of moving hearts and minds to affect behavior change will be vital to success in this role.

In this hands-on position reporting to the Head of Creative Services & Operations for North America Marketing (NAM), you will be partnering with peers, Product Marketing Managers and other business stakeholders to design and develop regional and global marketing strategies involving new product introduction, advertising, direct marketing, product marketing, corporate image, brand identity and experiential techniques. In addition to actively concepting and designing campaigns, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of designers as well as related budgets, timelines and workflow, to ensure every campaign meets the goal(s) of a given creative brief.

Success in this role requires a track record of coaching and inspiring creative teams to develop conceptual design solutions that drive growth for the business. You will be responsible for elevating our graphic design solutions to world-class, award-winning levels while producing measurable results against business objectives. Relationship management and collaboration at all levels of the organization and working with global teams across multiple functions will be required.

Let\xe2\x80\x99s talk about Responsibilities:

Provide both thought and functional leadership for our in-house agency\xe2\x80\x99s visual and graphic design discipline which may include roles such as Art Directors, Graphic and Visual Designers, Animators, Videographers, Photographers, 3-D Designers, Digital Designers, UX/UI Designers, Front End Developers and/or similar roles within external agency partners as required.

Lead and mentor designers in conceptual strategies, innovative design techniques and new marketing approaches, including experiential, to continually elevate work across all channels.

Develop a deep understanding of ResMed audiences and their journeys to identify ways our creative can be most effective in driving results.

Ensure all creative solutions align with strategic objectives and satisfy all requirements of the brief.

Facilitate and guide strategic thinking during creative kick-off meetings, brainstorming sessions and client presentations.

Apply knowledge of human-centered design (HCD) and outside the box thinking to inform effective, audience focused design solutions that enhance product and customer experience.

Develop strong, trusted partnerships with peers and key constituents across the organization and help build an effective community of practice in collaboration with other creative and design leaders across the organization.

Collaborate with the Delivery/Project Management team in estimating level of effort for project initiatives and advise on creative staffing requirements/needs when necessary.

Ensure that the creative team continually delivers high-quality work in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner.

Provide hands-on creative (i.e., concepting, design, production) and collaborate with Content and other team leads as needed.

Offer organizational, management, and process ideas to leadership and peers to foster a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence that enables best-in-class creative.

Promote use of the in-house agency across the organization as opportunities arise.

Let\xe2\x80\x99s talk about Qualifications and Experience

10 years of related experience with 7+ years of creative direction (ACD or CD level) in agency or corporate setting.

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in art or design.

Proven track record of success in a design leadership role leading conceptual design work and a leadership style that prioritizes clarity, team empowerment and ownership of assigned projects.

Strength in creating campaign concepts that flow seamlessly across channels including both print and digital formats.

Experience partnering with both content and brand teams to create consistent brand experiences across all touch points and to push and evolve the brand.

Strong business acumen and the ability to apply creative and design to solving complex business goals.

Exceptional people and time management skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with emphasis on creative \xe2\x80\x9cpitching\xe2\x80\x9d of concepts.

Ability to work well under pressure and flexible in adapting and responding to changing situations.

Mastery of primary Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

Experience with Workfront a plus.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

This role is eligible to receive an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is:

$137,000-205,000/yr.
