Responsibilities

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)- Behavioral Health

Shift: Sunday - Thursday 9:00am - 5:00pm Status: Full-Time:Non-Exempt/Hourly

The Assistant Director of Nursing \xe2\x80\x93 Behavioral Health, is responsible for Infection Control, sterile and non-sterile physical care equipment monitoring and surveillance, resident and employee health care education and prevention monitoring and surveillance, medical records and quality assurance to maintain compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, State and local standards at the facility. In this capacity, he/she also monitors and evaluates resident services and nursing documentation, prepares employee schedules, assists in resident and staff vaccinations. The ADON works as a floor nurse when needed.

Qualifications

Your Qualifications will include:
  • Registered Nurse graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Valid Utah RN licensure or authorization to practice in Utah
  • At least 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in nursing leadership/supervision preferred
  • Experience in behavioral health field preferred
