Job Description
Higginsville Habilitation Center is a state operated program within the Department of Mental Health. We support 40+ individuals with developmental disabilities, receiving 23/7 services in a group home setting. We are recruiting for an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to be a part of our Nursing team.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The ADON position is a managerial nurse position that is accountable for directing nursing services, which includes oversight/review of work and documentation of subordinate. The right person should have knowledge of management principles and techniques as applied to nursing administration. Have the ability to maintain clinical and administrative records and prepare related reports. Must be detailed orientated, work well with others, have good time management skills, possess leadership skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS: Licensure as a Registered Nurse, 3-5 years experience as a Registered Nurse and 2-4 years of Supervisory Registered Nurse experience.
SCHEDULE: Scheduled to work 8:00am - 4:30pm with Saturday and Sunday as days off (flexible as needed).
