Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking an ambitious, organized and proactive team member to join the Americas Team in New York City. This person will be responsible for effectively supporting all efforts of the Human Resources team. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a workplace that values diversity and promotes a positive employee experience.

How you will contribute

Employee Life Cycle

  • Support full-time recruitment and staffing for all entry level corporate roles, in partnership with the VP of HR, as well as retail positions, in partnership with the HR Manager.
  • Post open positions in compliance with Company and legal guidelines, sourcing appropriate candidates, facilitating meetings with hiring managers, and partnering with staffing agencies as needed.
  • Perform background checks and reference checks for final candidates.
  • Oversee the entire onboarding life cycle for new hires, ensuring a smooth experience from completion of new hire paperwork to their first day, receipt of onboarding kits, and attendance at the HR Onboarding call.
  • Facilitate monthly HR Onboarding call with new joiners. Maintain presentation deck with relevant information and resources. Coordinate calendar invitations for Store Managers and monitor attendance to ensure all new employees participate.
  • Responsible for conducting thorough and confidential exit interviews with departing employees prior to their last day of employment. Summarize key findings from exit interviews and escalate this information to the HR Manager and VP of HR.


Employee Relations
  • Act as liaison between our retail doors and corporate offices, providing support as it relates to our employee population.
  • Be the Workplace (internal social media outlet) ambassador for the HR team as well as the corporate office Employee Benefits.
  • In partnership with Kering Shared Services, assist employees and management teams with inquiries related to payroll, direct deposits, earned time off, holiday pay, etc. as needed.


Inclusion and Diversity
  • Develop, implement, and monitor I&D initiatives that align with the organizations\xe2\x80\x99 goals and values.
  • Collaborate with leadership to integrate I&D principles into all aspects of the employee life cycle.
  • Foster a culture of belonging through awareness campaigns, training sessions, and engagement activities.


HR Administration
  • Manage the integrity and timeliness of employee paperwork processing including new hires, status changes and separations.
  • Facilitate employee development and enhance engagement by actively participating in the planning, execution, and monitoring of HR training programs and e-learning initiatives. Ensure smooth implementation, track progress, and promote timely completion of training activities.
  • General administrative duties (filing, resume database maintenance, etc.).
  • Partner with the VP of HR to complete special projects on an as-needed basis.


Reporting, Analytics & Compliance
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist in development of HR policies and procedures.
  • Compile and analyze HR metrics related to I&D, recruitment, and employee engagement.
  • Generate reports to support decision-making and identify areas of improvement
  • Stay abreast of relevant employment laws and regulations, ensuring HR practices align with legal requirements.


Who you are?
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience in Business, HR, or related area.
  • Previous experience in HR coordination, with exposure to I&D initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the luxury fashion and retail industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence change.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills/able to communicate effectively across all levels of organization
  • Detail and solutions oriented with strong organization and follow up skills
  • Ability to take direction from multiple stakeholders, balance numerous projects simultaneously and prioritize deadlines
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal accountability
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Familiarity with HRIS and other relevant software (Workday, Dayforce, Workplace, Varicent)
  • Highly confidential, diplomatic, and tactful
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, eager to learn and willing to take on new challenges
  • Must have availability to work in the office 3 days per week
