Adoption Counselor
Job Description
Cedar Bend Humane Society is looking for energetic and outgoing animal advocates to join our part-time Adoption Counselor team! Adoption Counselors are the smiling faces that match adoptable pets with new families. You must be capable of handling large dogs and a variety of breeds, have strong customer service skills, and work as a team member.
Work hours are between 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 20-30 hours per week. Shifts vary between Tuesday-Sunday and weekend shifts are mandatory. Other Adoption Counselor job duties include, but are not limited to, caring for and cleaning kennels, cleaning the adoption center, office and data entry tasks, and assisting with volunteers and fundraising events. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. We are looking for self-motivated individuals that want to make a difference in the lives of homeless animals in our community!
