JOB SUMMARY

Currently seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our team!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Regular, consistent, and ongoing communication to management on the below job description is essential.
  • Immediately advise management team of situations that could negatively affect builder relationships or associates.
  • Protect the company\'s principals, morals, values and procedures. Notify manager of any concerns relating to compliance or associate concerns.
  • Maintain front desk by greeting customers/answering phones with a professional manner at all times. Greet visitors and callers and direct them cordially and appropriately.
  • Successfully operate multi-line phone console. Answer phones and route calls accordingly and timely.
  • Sort mail
  • Maintain general appearance of showroom and prep for each business day / check trash cans to make sure they are not full / stock showroom fridge.
  • Schedule overnight package deliveries/pick-ups
  • Any other tasks or projects as needed and assigned by management.
  • Coordinate office supply and Costco order with Lake Forest Corporate Office
  • Showroom Administration \xe2\x80\x93 Assist the Showroom and Vendor Manager (when requested) in executing the administration of the Showroom and Product Programming responsibilities for the design center. Includes, but not limited to, pulling and updating product, group and price changes, etc. Receive and distribute model samples from Lake Forest. Order any damaged showroom samples when needed.
  • Assist sales in timely resolution of any kickbacks notifications and or complete if applicable when received from escrow or options teams.
  • Assist builder associates via personal contact, phone and e-mail when needed.
  • Resolve situations either personally or by working with an associate or designer.
  • Advise management team of situations when necessary.
  • Assist Lead Designers with buyer and builder calls when not available.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • High School graduate, college level classes a plus
  • Minimum 1-2 years in a professional business environment
  • Willing to travel to our Sacramento showroom as needed.
  • Construction trade experience with a homebuilder or subcontractor
