Job Description

Global Transloading, LLC is searching for a motivated Acct/Bookkeeper. Communication skills, multitasking, time management are critical for the Accounting/Bookkeeping position. Accounts P/R, bank deposits, reconciliations, data entry. Prefer construction and/or trucking industry knowledge. Must know Quickbooks. Mon-Fri 40 hours. Responsibilities

• Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
• Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
• Prepare client invoices with backup.
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
• Daily entering of financial transaction data into Quickbooks.
• Provide administrative assistance and support to company personnel.
• Research and rectify / restore accounting / documentation discrepancies and problems

Skills

• Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts Receivable Clerk and Accounts Payable Clerk
• Proficient with bookkeeping and computers
• Hands-on experience with financial reports and spreadsheets
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Proficient with Quickbooks
• Data entry
• Payroll

Education

• High School Diploma and Associate\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business or Accounting
• Additional certifications (accounting, business, etc.) are a plus
