I\'m currently partnered with the CFO of a multi-million dollar Aerospace manufacturing company that is actively looking to identify a strong Accounting Analyst to join their growing team in the company headquarters near Carol Stream, IL This individual will gain exposure to all parts of the business such as the daily accounting functions, financial analysis, and job costing.

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with various departments to gather relevant data.
• Investigate and explain budget variances, providing insights to management on key financial metrics.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor/customer communication, and reconciliations.
• Analyze product costs, production expenses, and overhead costs to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and internal controls. Assist in annual audits and tax filings.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting procedures.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and procurement, to gather and analyze financial data for various projects and initiatives.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting or finance experience, in a manufacturing or similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CPA or relevant certification (preferred but not required).
