Full-time, 9-month JOB DESCRIPTION: Dakota College at Bottineau is seeking an instructor to teach first-year composition, pre first-year composition, speech, and other arts/humanities disciplines (i.e., literature, humanities, music, and/or art) to undergraduate students in associate degree and certificate programs. This position includes curriculum development, outcomes assessment, institutional committee work, program promotion, distance delivery of coursework, and community service and outreach. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Composition and Rhetoric, in English, or in English Education. Successful teaching experience at the secondary or college level or equivalent professional experience. QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Doctorate degree in Composition and Rhetoric with graduate course work in Speech/Communication. Successful teaching experience with First Year Composition, pre-First Year Composition, introductory public speaking, and arts/humanities courses. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Successful applicant will be required to pass a criminal history background investigation prior to employment. SALARY: $45,000-$50,000.
