Job Summary

Mac's Tap & Table is looking for a part time dishwasher to work Friday and Saturday nights.

More hours are possible if a proven track record of showing up.

Duties

Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas to ensure a safe and organized workspace. Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or ingredient setup when needed. Support the catering team by handling dishware during events or banquet services. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean items for food service. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and uphold hygiene standards. Participate in routine cleaning schedules including trash disposal, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.

Qualifications

Prior experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and food safety practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a hygienic workspace. Experience with bussing tables or supporting food service operations is a plus. Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or sanitation tools is advantageous. A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and reliability are essential qualities for success in this role.
