Responsibilities
Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards
Assist with food prep tasks such as washing vegetables, organizing supplies, and supporting basic kitchen operations
Support the catering team during events by ensuring all dishware and utensils are ready and properly cleaned
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during busy service times to ensure a smooth flow of operations
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene in all tasks
Collaborate with kitchen staff to support overall food service and hospitality goals
Requirements
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required--training will be provided!
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads of dishes or supplies
Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
Willingness to work weekends, evenings, or flexible hours as needed
Knowledge of basic kitchen operations, including bussing, cleaning, and food handling practices is a plus
Enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills
Prior banquet or catering experience is advantageous but not mandatory
