Base Pay: $18.25

Position Function :

Responsible for performing numerous tasks on recently-slaughtered turkeys or tasks that support the overall operations within the department.

Essential Duties, Functions, & Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Perform various tasks to include repetitive manual labor to debone meat from the turkeys.

\xc2\xb7 Some jobs are performed with the assistance of tools or other equipment while other jobs are performed by hand.

\xc2\xb7 Observes equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns.

\xc2\xb7 Will be required to rotate to various functions within the processing department.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Characteristics:

\xc2\xb7 Follows all safety, USDA, and GMP policies and guidelines.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain a clean and organized work area.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions & policies.

\xc2\xb7 Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.

\xc2\xb7 Must be able to work at line speed upon completion of training period.

\xc2\xb7 Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.

\xc2\xb7 Must be willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

\xc2\xb7 Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.

\xc2\xb7 Must pass a background check, drug screen and pre-employment physical.

\xc2\xb7 Some positions may require the ability to read, write, and/or speak English.

Physical Requirements :

\xc2\xb7 Standing 8 \xe2\x80\x93 10 hours per day,

\xc2\xb7 Lift up-to 50 lbs.

\xc2\xb7 Possible bending, stooping, twisting, and squatting.

\xc2\xb7 Repetitive hand intensive task, tight gripping, grasping, pinching, and pulling required

Working Conditions:

\xc2\xb7 Work in damp and cold environment.

\xc2\xb7 Work with loud and noisy machinery.

\xc2\xb7 Work with or around chemicals/fumes/pungent odors.

\xc2\xb7 Working with animal organs and animal feces.

Minimum Qualifications

\xc2\xb7 No minimum education requirement

\xc2\xb7 No previous work experience required

\xc2\xb7 Must be at least eighteen (18) years old

\xc2\xb7 Must be eligible to work legally in the United States
