Job Description


Our partner, a frontrunner in pioneering exceptional search technology, seeks a skilled and enthusiastic individual to assume the role of Vice President (VP) of Product Marketing. In this position, you will take charge of a team responsible for shaping customer engagement strategies through effective messaging, positioning, and competitive insights for our hosted search API solution. As VP of Product Marketing, you will spearhead the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies, steer solutions and content marketing endeavors, and provide the necessary sales tools and support. Operating at the crossroads of sales and product management, this influential and strategic position will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and involve close collaboration across the organization. While our client is based in the SF Bay Area, this role is offered remotely.

Responsibilities:

Formulate and communicate compelling value propositions that are lucid, distinctive, and defensible.

Empower and expedite content creation tailored to various personas and industries.

Gain profound insights into our markets and major competitors to deliver persuasive messages that effectively position our offerings for victory.

Establish close partnerships with industry experts, analysts, and PR teams to ensure impactful thought leadership and ongoing market relevance; act as a spokesperson for the media.

Lead, synchronize, and cooperate across marketing, product management, and sales teams to orchestrate product launches that showcase our innovations and stimulate demand.

Develop and furnish resources for the sales team and partners, including sales training materials, presentation assets, solution briefs, FAQs, and strategic resources that boost solution adoption, generate sales enthusiasm, and foster success.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in product marketing with a proven track record of team management.

A leader with a people-centric approach, capable of building and guiding talented and cooperative teams, nurturing team members\' growth, and connecting performance with organizational culture and overarching business goals.

Profound experience in delivering presentations to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, including senior executives.

A robust comprehension of content marketing principles.

Desirable: A Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field; an MBA would be advantageous.

Comp: $180,000-$300,000 (base, depending on experience)
