ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
  • Responsible for administering the property level financial functions.
  • Serves as an advisor to the General Manager and other members of management on financial matters.
  • Has responsibility for the accurate reporting of financial statements.
  • Ensures the effective and efficient operation of all assigned areas with an emphasis on any aspect of the operation which will contribute to profitability and maximize guest satisfaction.
  • Plans, develops and directs staffing and training of management staff and line level employees and ensures that each has a clear understanding of the department service requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with established New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement accounting and internal control procedures and with company guidelines and policies.
  • This position functions as Chief Financial Officer of the licensee for the purpose of certifying internal control system changes to the NJDGE as required by N.J.S.A. 5:12-99 and N.J.A.C. 19:45-1.3.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting, MBA or CPA preferred. Knowledge of SEC and NJ DGE regulations. Broad knowledge of casino and hotel internal controls, policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements preferred. Diverse finance and accounting background with at least seven (7) to ten (10) years in a casino/hotel finance related position at a managerial level required.
Reports directly to General Manager of Hotel/Casino.
Must possess a valid Key and be eligible to obtain a Key Qualifier Credential with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
