As a communications Vice President within the Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Communications team, you will be a member of a high-performing team that communicates with honesty, authenticity and empathy. Reporting to the Head of External Communications for Travel, Dining, & Shopping within Connected Commerce, you will provide PR leadership and communications support to two Chase growth businesses delivering external communications and promotional strategy that advances business results and strengthen the organization\'s visibility.

This role is specific to two distinct lines of business within Connected Commerce, where you\'ll serve both the Offers & Shopping and Chase Dining (inclusive of restaurant discovery platforms, The Infatuation and Zagat) team as they expand and enhance offerings for our customers and future.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide direct communications support and act as a trusted advisor and counselor to senior executives on the Connected Commerce Offers & Shopping and Chase Dining leadership teams.
  • Create and implement strategic external communications plans in support of key initiatives including brand launches, announcements, ongoing media relations around key moments, events, data & insights, executive visibility and general brand building activities to enhance awareness.
  • Align with and support key marketing, partnerships and experiential teams to offer PR and Communications support for event planning and logistics from ideation through execution. Events for Dining include The Infatuation\'s multi-city food festival, ATSCON, among other key events in Dining and Offers & Shopping.
  • Mine for and share great stories that demonstrate business leadership, growth and industry leaderships
  • Develop and train key spokespeople throughout each line of business to support key brand initiatives
  • Partner with internal/external partners to enhance innovation, new ideas and better ways of communicating
  • Be a great partner and teammate, and contribute to Connected Commerce Communications-wide communications, playing a key role on the larger Card & Connected Commerce Communications Team at Chase
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • 5-7 years of external communications and public relations experience, including extensive media relations, writing, project management, event planning experience, preferably tied to consumer brands, retail, restaurants, dining, hospitality, or financial services. BA/BS in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or related degree
  • Demonstrated success developing communications strategy; Strong ability to take complex concepts and deliver them into simple/digestible communications
  • Organized self-starter, project manager and multi-tasker with a proven ability to track complex and overlapping milestones and manage multiple priorities and urgent deadlines; Ability to manage PR Agency and lead or participate in key multi-partner projects
  • A creative, innovative and strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with, teams, internal stakeholders and senior leaders; High level of independence, energy and integrity, demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and takes accountability and accepts responsibility
  • Outstanding judgment and interpersonal skills, including partnering effectively with executives, peers and other functional groups across the company and comfortable working directly as a partner and confidant of C-suite executives
  • Solid knowledge of JPMC\'s business model, organization structure and performance metrics, and the role Offers & Shopping and Dining play into the future of the firm\'s business.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; meticulous attention to detail; team player who willingly collaborates and contributes on both the strategic and the tactical.
