Job Description


In the Vice President, Cross Border Payments Product Manager role you will have an exciting opportunity to build innovative international payments solutions for Chase customers. As part of this role, you will define strategy and product vision, influence design and development and oversee delivery execution following agile methodology principles. As a part of delivering end-to-end solutions for enabling alternative cross border consumer payments, your responsibilities will include:
Job Responsibilities:

  • Closely collaborate with research, design, product owners, finance, and analytics teams to conduct in depth market analysis and customer research to understand customer pain points, needs, and desires when sending cross border payments.
  • Partner with the product lead to define the product vision, roadmap, and objectives, ensuring fit with the overall value proposition.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of customer needs, behaviors, and pain points, as well as competitive landscape and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrate the ability to use qualitative user insights and quantitative data to back up assumptions and develop a business case.
  • Lead end-to-end product development process including defining requirements based on customer research, establishing risk-mitigating controls with legal and compliance partners to overseeing technical execution in partnership with the engineering team.
  • Identify, communicate, and manage cross-team dependencies and risks, collaborate with execution teams to ensure end-to-end delivery of product features.
  • Support the day-to-day operational needs of the in-market product: track and measure initiatives, monitor product metrics, monitor client / employee feedback, and provide guidance and support to product issues.

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:
  • 5+ years in product role in Strategy/Technology consulting or Banking/Fintech space with prior experience building and launching complex products
  • Bachelor\'s degree in relevant field
  • Well versed in both business and technology to serve as an efficient liaison between business strategy functions and the engineering teams
  • Strong analytical skills and data-focused approach to roadmap definition and prioritization
  • Ability to analyze opportunities & problems, recommend solutions, communicate effectively (both verbal and written) and resolve roadblocks as needed
  • Experience of handling multiple priorities / deadlines without compromising quality
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment and quickly adopt to continuously shifting business priorities while remaining focused on attention to detail

Preferred Skills:
  • Advanced degree in applicable field (Masters, MBA) is preferred
  • Knowledge of the payments space with strong preference for prior experience working with international payments
  • Experience working with products requiring strong controls and risk-management focus
