Advanced Veterinary Medical Center in Milpitas, CA is seeking an

experienced Veterinary Receptionist

to join our compassionate and client-focused team. This role is essential to the daily operations of our hospital and to delivering an exceptional client experience from the first phone call to check-out.

Position Overview

The Veterinary Receptionist serves as the primary point of contact for clients and plays a key role in scheduling, communication, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced veterinary medical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet clients and patients in a friendly, professional manner Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments efficiently Manage client check-in and check-out, including invoicing and payments Communicate clearly with veterinarians and technical staff regarding patient flow Maintain accurate client and patient records in the practice management system Handle prescription refill requests and basic client inquiries Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area

Qualifications

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a veterinary receptionist

(required) Familiarity with veterinary terminology and hospital workflows Strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills Comfortable handling sensitive client situations with empathy and professionalism Proficient with computers and veterinary practice management software Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
