Practice Highlights

- We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am-6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am-2:00pm.
- We recommend our clients to schedule appointment, but will see walk-ins if the schedule permits.

The Veterinary Receptionist - Client Services Specialist will play a vital role in maintaining strong relationships with our clients by handling essential communication tasks. This position is ideal for someone with excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping both people and animals. If you have strong communication skills, a passion for animals, and enjoy working in a dynamic and compassionate setting, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct follow-up calls to clients regarding their appointments from the previous day to check on patient progress and answer any questions.
- Confirm upcoming appointments via phone, email, or text.
- Communicate lab results and ensure all client inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Greet clients warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere in the clinic.
- Manage phone calls and emails, providing accurate information or redirecting to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain accurate client and patient records using our practice management software.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, handling payments, and other front desk duties as needed.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide seamless client and patient care.
- Communicate effectively and work as part as a team.
- Experience with Cornerstone is a plus.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or customer service role preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassion for animals and their owners.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
- Previous experience in a veterinary or customer service role is a plus but not required.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $18 - $20/ hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
