Richmond team

is looking for a

Veterinary Receptionist (Customer Service Representative)

with

previous experience in veterinary medicine

who is organized, compassionate, and passionate about helping pets and their families.

The Role



As the first and last face our clients see, you play a vital role in shaping their experience. You'll balance compassion with attention to detail -- greeting every visitor warmly, answering calls with professionalism, and ensuring communication between our medical team and clients flows seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:



Welcome clients with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality Manage phone calls, emails, and messages with accuracy and urgency Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring deposits and medical records are complete Maintain a clean and inviting lobby area Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately Prepare, update, and organize medical records daily Respond to client record requests, send medical records, and route messages appropriately Support technicians and doctors through effective client communication and follow-up Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth, efficient day-to-day operations

Who We're Looking For



We're seeking a

veterinary-experienced receptionist or CSR

who thrives in a busy, team-oriented environment and takes pride in communication, accuracy, and service.

You'll be a great fit if you:



Have

prior veterinary clinic experience (required)

-- understanding terminology, client flow, and patient communication Are highly organized and detail-oriented Communicate clearly, professionally, and with empathy -- in person, by phone, and by email Can manage multiple priorities calmly and efficiently Work well with both clients and clinical staff in a team setting Are dependable, proactive, and genuinely care about doing things the right way
