Veterinary Receptionist
with
1-2 years of prior veterinary experience
to join our team.

As the first point of contact for our clients, you'll be key to delivering excellent customer service while ensuring smooth clinic operations. This is a fast-paced role where you will manage multi-line phone systems, schedule appointments, and support both our clients and veterinary team with your strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist clients and their pets both in person and over the phone.
Manage multi-line phone systems, efficiently handling calls, directing inquiries, and managing appointment scheduling.
Schedule, confirm, and update appointments using veterinary practice management software.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
Process payments and invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Communicate with the veterinary team regarding patient needs, updates, and changes to schedules.
Educate clients on clinic policies, basic pet care, and health procedures (vaccinations, wellness exams, etc.).
Assist with managing the front desk area to ensure it's clean, organized, and welcoming.
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience as a veterinary receptionist or in a similar veterinary role
.
Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, appointment workflows, and client interactions.
Experience with
multi-line phone systems
and the ability to prioritize calls effectively.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency with veterinary software systems (AVImark or similar preferred).
Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
Must be comfortable interacting with animals (dogs and cats,).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
Experience working in a high-volume, multi-doctor veterinary practice is a plus.
