Valle Verde Animal Hospital in Albuquerque is seeking a dependable, customer service oriented person to join our team. We are looking for someone who can handle a fast-paced environment, multi-task and works well as a team member. Valle Verde AH is a new non corporate practice offering medical and surgical care focused on small animal and exotic pets, including reptiles and avian species.

Benefits available for full time employees.

Schedule is usually four 10 hour shifts, but can vary depending on hospital needs.

Pay is dependent on experience and knowledge base.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Answer and direct phone calls as needed. Schedule appointments appropriately Check clients in/out for appointments in a friendly professional manner including obtaining payments from clients. Facilitate timely care for patients and clients. Monitor communication and facilitate requests from clients. Keep hospital stocked, tidy, and clean. Assist with other tasks as needed.
The ideal person would have the following characteristics:

Must enjoy working with animals and people. A self-starter that will take initiative to accomplish tasks at hand. Must be able to lift and restrain heavy animals. Ability to maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor in high-stress situations. Comfortable working with all types of animals, including exotics. Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
