Job Summary

As the Vendor Manager , you will be responsible for over-seeing the Cash and Check Services Team managing armored supplier services, including cash, coin and check processing. You and your team also manages more than 100 cash vaults (supplier outsourced and Chase-owned).

Job Responsibilities
  • Understanding and partnering with Cash Suppliers to meet contractual deliverables, service levels, and payment & penalties as outlined in the Cash Supplier contracts.
  • Documenting issues, formulating data, interpreting root cause and implementing operating practices for problem resolution
  • Influencing, driving, and communicating daily, weekly, monthly performance of the ATM and Branch Cash service supplier contractual expectations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our Customer and Branch Service Teams and other internal partners (Cash Services, Treasury Product, Cash Resolutions Services, Reconciliation, ATM/Branch Supplier Management), who escalate into our team.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field(s) is required
  • Previous management experience and leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills, along with strong presentational skills
  • Requires 6-10 years banking, vault management and/or vendor relations
  • Working knowledge and understanding of contractual agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiatives, with strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Leading while under high-pressure situations, ability to handle multiple tasks, make well-founded decisions and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

  • Strong influencing skills among peers and 3 rd party vendors and customers
  • Team oriented mentality within The Firm and outside
  • Understanding of business applications and work flows
