TITLE: Valet Driver Non-Exempt
DEPARTMENT: Bell Staff SHIFT: PM
REPORTS TO: Bell Captain Overview Handle baggage for guests at hotel. Provide exemplary customer service with every customer including valet service, local directions and local area information.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Transfer luggage, trunks, and packages to and from rooms, loading areas, or vehicles, by hand or using baggage carts.

• Supply guests with directions, travel information, and other information such as available services and points of interest.

• Receive and mark baggage by completing and attaching claim checks.

• Valet park guests vehicles in hotel parking ramp upon request.

• Provide guests with transportation to various destinations within the area with the hotel van.

• Greet incoming guests and escort them to their rooms.

• Assist physically challenged travelers and other guests with special needs.

• Act as part of the security team at the hotels.

• Work with other internal departments to guarantee guest comfort and satisfaction.

• Provide occasional phone and front desk coverage when necessary.

• Provide professional, pleasant customer service at all times.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the English language

• Excellent oral communication skills

• General knowledge of the Rochester Area

• Professional in appearance and demeanor

• Previous Customer Service background

• Current Drivers License

• Limited moving violations, driving accidents and zero alcohol/drug violations
