Position Summary

Our Amwins Access Underwriter Development Program is designed to guide participants through an intensive 2.5-year professional development program, where candidates will participate in technical and sales workshops, on the job training, mentoring, and attendance at industry events. The program is designed to accelerate candidates toward a career as a Production Underwriter at Amwins Access - Commercial Lines.

This position will be location in office in the Midwest Region of the United States:

• Springfield, MO

• Successfully create and manage a profitable book of new and renewal business
• Prospect for new business by developing relationships with retail agents through both traditional and creative marketing strategies
• Remain up to date with new insurance companies\' offers and how to leverage them
• Prospect for new business markets and/or lines to write with sales techniques based in trust and relationship building
• Mentor and train new team members

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in any business-related field
• Less than 12 months of insurance experience
• A desire to excel in sales environment
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Open to relocation
• Highly motivated
• Problem solver
