POSITION SUMMARY:

Advanced Energy is hiring a talented and driven Treasury Lead, specializing in Foreign Exchange (FX). This role is an integral part of the treasury team and contributes to the company\'s success by managing a global hedging program to reduce FX risk. This is an ideal opportunity for the right professional, with an understanding of FX markets and FX risk management, to continue developing and grow within a global industry leading company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage balance sheet hedging program and identify areas for continuous improvement
  • Responsible for daily/monthly monitoring of exchange rates and understanding of factors driving changes in FX markets
  • Evaluate and review daily FX positions, based on information from multiple ERP systems
  • Analyze and identify key drivers to changes in balance sheet exposures
  • Research and resolve any unusual position changes with Accounting teams
  • Execute FX hedges (forwards, swaps, NDF\'s, options) on daily basis
  • Execute FX spot trades
  • Ensure accuracy of database of all executed deals, and calculate net settlements at month end
  • Produce, maintain, and analyze complex management reports, including for month end reporting on hedge program results and presentations to senior management
  • Lead key initiatives related to hedging programs such as evaluating and implementing new system solutions
  • Establish and manage relationships with both internal teams such as FP&A, tax, and accounting, as well as external bank partners, to aid in FX risk management
  • Provide support for other treasury operations as needed
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Work closely with foreign treasury team members
  • Regular interaction with the Treasurer and CFO
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding and ability to communicate GAAP FX translation/remeasurement concepts
  • FX trading experience
  • Working knowledge of Refinitiv or Bloomberg, including usage of Excel add-ins
  • Working knowledge of trading platforms including proprietary banking ones, 360T, FXAll or similar
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work under limited supervision
EXPERIENCE:
  • 3-5 years of previous experience in treasury, finance, or banking (FX specific experience preferred)
  • Hands on FX hedging experience
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • CTP or CFA designations preferred
COMPENSATION:

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $80,000 to $120,000 per year.
