Treasury Analyst


Summary:

The Treasury Analyst will support corporate financial, investment and liquidity functions on a company-wide basis. Responsibilities include monitoring and interpreting financial performance, preparing management reports, analyzing financial records, and forecasting future financial, capital and liquidity positions based on historical trends and available information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide analytical support for corporate investment and finance decisions involving interest rate risk, liquidity and capital
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly internal and external financial reports
• Prepare financial, capital and liquidity forecasts and budgets
• Analyze trends and variances in financial performance
• Provide support for the Asset-Liability Committee and related functions
• Manage the company\'s pledging activities, including liaising with internal and external resources
• Coordinate daily swap margin accounting
• Administer correspondent banking relationships
• Complete accounting and reporting requirements for company debt
• Respond to management inquiries and perform special projects, as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and reasoning abilities
• Detail-oriented and hands-on
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to interact with diverse personalities in multiple levels of management
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and adapt to changing priorities

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Education and/or Experience:

• 1-2 years of related experience in the financial services industry
• Bachelor\'s degree in Business or Accounting. Finance emphasis preferred

Computer and Software Skills:

• Proficient in Excel and use of computerized financial accounting and reporting systems
• Interest and aptitude to learn new systems
