Responsibilities

This person will be responsible for oversight of our corporate cash management. They will also analyze our cash position regularly and help facilitate decisions related to improving our liquidity.

Cash Management:

• Retrieve and reconcile previous day & current day bank account activity.
• Responsible for the execution of EFTs (Wire and ACH).
• Assist with monitoring and managing the company\'s daily liquidity position and short term cash forecast.
• Assist with AR collections.
• Perform cash and GL entry and reconciliation processes.
• Assist in preparation of monthly & quarterly financial and compliance reports.
• Verify beneficiary information via the \xe2\x80\x98callback\' process.
• Assist with the development of Treasury policies and processes.
• Download account analyses and bank statements monthly.
• Report bank balances by account weekly.
• Update and maintain wire transfer templates.
• Responsible for check deposits for HQ and work with banks to issue certified checks for Business Units.
• Manage ACH debit exceptions in bank portals.
• Monitor and forecast cash liquidity levels

Banking Relations:

• Responsible for opening and closing bank accounts for Treasury and BU\'s.
• Including Investment, Operating, Joint Venture, Project Specific, and Escrow accounts.
• Maintain bank account database including signer updates
• Administrator for online banking portals to maintain and update user access including BUs and CFC.

Other Duties as assigned Requirements:

• Four-year college degree, ideally with a concentration in accounting, finance, or business is preferred
• Preferred 2-3 years of Treasury experience.
• Knowledgeable on account opening, closing, bank documentation, and other bank requirements (i.e., KYC).
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office programs.
• Hands-on experience using bank portals.
• Preferred to have a familiarity working in a real estate investment environment as well as experience with Yardi.
