Position: RN-Medical Surgical-Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.
Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status regularly.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.
Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Utilize data and metrics to evaluate patient outcomes and improve care.
Support a positive team environment and contribute to team goals.
Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions to enhance skills.
Stay updated on best practices and advancements in nursing care.
Experience/Qualifications
Current RN license in Ohio with a minimum of 2 years experience.
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical nursing practices.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
Strong communication skills for patient and family education.
Ability to utilize data to assess and improve patient care outcomes.
Willingness to work in a results-driven environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols.
Experience with electronic health records and documentation standards.
Positive attitude towards performance evaluations and feedback.
