About the Company: Our client is a well-established food manufacturing facility, located in western Ohio, that has been in business for nearly 75 years. With steady growth and recent facility renovations, this company offers a stable and rewarding environment for career growth. They operate 2 production shifts, with sanitation on the 3rd shift, and employ just under 250 dedicated team members.
Position Overview: We are seeking a hands-on 1st Shift Maintenance Supervisor (5:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.) to join the team. This role requires a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes responsibility, and is quick on their feet. The right candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth production operations while also mentoring and guiding the maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the 1st shift maintenance team
• Oversee repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of food manufacturing equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Support production operations with minimal downtime
• Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of maintenance supervisory experience
• 7+ years of maintenance experience within food production or industrial manufacturing
• Strong leadership skills and accountability
• Experience with ovens, boilers, ammonia refrigeration, conveyor belts, pneumatics, and hydraulics is a plus
